It may happen that you have an appointment at our practice that you cannot keep.
In such a situation, we request that you cancel the appointment by telephone as soon as possible, but at least 24 hours in advance.
If you do not show up for an appointment without notice, this is very inconvenient. At that time, we could have helped another patient who now has to wait longer, and the care provider is waiting for nothing.
In order to limit this undesirable situation as much as possible, we charge a no-show fee of € 20. The no-show fee is in accordance with the guidelines of the national general practitioner association LHV.
The invoice for the no-show fee will be sent to you personally and will not be reimbursed by your health insurer.
Of course, we will waive this in force majeure situations.
If you fail to show up for an appointment twice within 12 months without timely cancellation, you must first pay the no-show fee before you can make a new appointment.
The funds from the no-show fees are donated to charities.
