At Linnaeus Medical Center, we are committed to maintaining, continuing and improving healthcare in the Netherlands. To contribute to this, doctors who specialize in general practice can do their internship with us.
An AIOS (Doctor in Training to Be a Specialist) independently conducts consultations and consultations and is assisted by a supervisor (an experienced general practitioner). If necessary, the AIOS can consult this supervisor.
This may mean that a consultation takes a little longer.
Every year, there is a new AIOS in the practice who is following the training at the AMC/Uva. The AIOS has work experience and stays for a year in which an 'independent week' is conducted twice. During the independent week, general practitioner Marloes Leebeek is not present and the Dapperbuurt General Practice is the backup.
For a consultation with the AIOS you can go to the GP consultation hour, a telephone consultation or a home visit.
A consultation takes place by appointment only.
- Regular consultation hour
For questions that require the AIOS to see you personally, you can make an appointment for a GP consultation.
The GP consultation hour is held every working day. For this you need to make an appointment by telephone or online via our web agenda.
We reserve 15 minutes for a consultation and in principle it is for treating 1 complaint. If the AIOS believes that a follow-up consultation is necessary, you make a follow-up appointment. The AIOS indicates how much time is needed for the follow-up consultation.
- Telephone consultation hour
For simple questions, short consultations and results of examinations where it is not necessary for the AIOS to see you personally, you can make an appointment for a telephone consultation.
Telephone consultations can be held daily. For this you must make an appointment by telephone.
When you call, the assistance will discuss your question with the AIOS. You will be called back by the assistance or the AIOS.
- Home visit
For questions that require the AIOS to see you in person but you are unable to come to the practice, for example because you are too ill, (temporarily) disabled or have difficulty walking, you can make an appointment for a home visit.
Home visits can be made daily, usually between 12:00 and 13:30. For this, you must make an appointment by telephone in the morning (due to scheduling).
However, because there are better options for examination and treatment in the GP practice, we prefer that you try to come to the consultation hour. If this is not possible, you can of course request a home visit.
Make an appointment
You can make an appointment by contacting the GP practice by telephone or by using our web agenda online.
